Charles Leclerc was left frustrated with the Ferrari pit wall during the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver took to his radio to vent his frustration over what appeared to be a strategy mishap with his race engineer.

The 27-year-old, who started the race on pole position, largely appeared to be well in control of the race until he made his first pit stop on the 20th lap of the event. Following his pitstop the pole sitter began complaining on the radio, and his frustration largely reached its climax when he again yelled out how the Ferrari team had not heeded his suggestions.

“This is so incredibly frustrating. We've lost all competitiveness. You just have to listen to me. I would have found a different way managing those issues. Now it's just undrivable. It's a miracle if we finish on the podium."

It would be later found out after the race that he had encountered a problem with the chassis of the car.

Leclerc’s unwanted pole record continues

The incident for Charles Leclerc witnessed his underwhelming pole position to race victory run continue. The Ferrari driver has now failed to convert 15 of his last 16 P1 starts into race victories.
