As GPblog previously reported, Red Bull has now confirmed that the RB22’s launch will take place on 15 January in Detroit, Michigan.
This website was the first to reveal last week that the unveiling would take place in Detroit, Michigan — the home of Ford — on that same date.
Alongside the RB22, the Racing Bulls car for the 2026 season will also be unveiled to the world at the event.
Red Bull is set to embark on a new journey, with Formula 1’s next regulation changes coming into effect in 2026. For the first time, the Austrian team will build its own power units in collaboration with Ford.
It remains to be seen whether the car itself or only its livery will be revealed to the public on that day in the US.
So far, only Max Verstappen has been confirmed to drive the RB22 in the upcoming campaign. The Dutchman revealed at the Hungarian Grand Prix earlier this season that he will remain with the team for next year.
Isack Hadjar enjoys 'seat security' for 2026 as well, but it has not yet been revealed whether he will drive for Red Bull Racing or Racing Bulls. The Faenza-based team also is yet to have its line-up completed.
