Alex Albon qualified for the
Austrian Grand Prix in fifth place, but for a long time, it looked as if he might have to put up with more cars in front of him. The
Red Bull driver, therefore, ended Saturday with mixed feelings.
"It wasn't easy with the yellow flags," said Albon to Sky Sports.
"Besides, I wasn't really behind anyone, so I didn't have any sleep. We could have been faster if we had been at the right time. I thought it would be worse [than fifth place]."
"It would have been exciting with Norris otherwise, without the yellow flag for Bottas I would have been closer anyway. But I don't think we could have done any better now than fifth place. With a drag it would have been better, but I am happy with P5 because I thought it could have been worse."
