Max Verstappen seemed to be unbeatable after the Dutch Grand Prix, but after his victory at the Italian Grand Prix, the remaining races will have to be wild for the Dutchman not to win the title. Verstappen now has 335 points in the driver's championship, which puts him 116 points ahead of Charles Leclerc.
Leclerc has again moved slightly ahead of Sergio Perez in third position, but P1 now looks well and truly out of sight for the Monegasque. With his huge lead, Verstappen can secure the title as early as the next race, the Singapore Grand Prix. It seems only a matter of time until the Red Bull Racing driver is crowned World Champion of 2022.
George Russell also takes home a good number of points with his P3 and is now also on over 200 points. Perez and Leclerc will have to take the Briton into account in the last six races. Nyck de Vries scored two points in his racing debut with Williams, putting him ahead of Nicholas Latifi in the championship.

I've made $1250 so far this week working online and I'm a full time student. I'm using an online business opportunity I heard about and I'AM made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Here's what I do, .for more information simply.

Russell with a good chance of finishing third in the championship with a car much worse than Ferrari or Redbull especially in the first half of the season.

He is going to break Hamiltons record for most points in a single season. He is 78 points away with 6 races remaining.
He needs to score an average of 13 points a race to beat that, and I think the average will be more close to 20.

So that would mean around 450 points, if material holds up of course.

True but the season is also longer than the season when Hamilton set his record so it doesn't really mean much. The longer the seasons, the higher the chances for old records to be broken.

There were 21 races that season, so only one additional race this season. Secondly, Verstappen had 3 DNF's this season, which makes it even more impressive.

That season also saw 9 Mercedes 1/2's, with Valteri taking second place with large margin to number 3. They won 15 of the 21 races...

So, conlcuding, that Merc was extremely dominant that time.
This year, Verstappen is becoming extremely dominant, which is a shame given the first 6-8 races this season...

That said, I do not think many more races can be squeezed into the season. They are stretching already.

Okay, yeah let's all pretend that a rookie didn't just outclass latifi first day. If they keep him another season I'd be shocked.

He will wrap it up in Singapore.Because that will be a track where the Mercs should be closer to Ferrari on paper. And I have a feeling Ferrari will shoot themselves in the foot on a track like that through strategy.

Realistically, Max will probably wrap it up in Japan, unless Ferrari screw up badly again in Singapore. Russell looks likely to jump Perez unless he gets his act together soon.
