The former champions have endured a turbulent year, with Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda unable to match McLaren’s speed.
Strategic missteps and qualifying struggles have added to their woes.
Midfield battle: Williams spearheads the best of the rest battle
Williams (5.0 pts per race) leads a tight midfield scrap over Aston Martin (3.7), Sauber (3.6), Racing Bulls (3.2), Haas (2.5) and Alpine (1.4).
Each has shown flashes of form with consistency remaining as the dividing factor.
McLaren’s astonishing average reflects both a car that has excelled across all circuit types and a driver pairing performing at their peak.
Unless the chasing pack finds major gains after the summer break, 2025’s Constructors’ battle is all but decided.
