Kelly Piquet confesses something about Max Verstappen: 'I never expected that'
Kelly Piquet shared details about her first meeting with Max Verstappen on an Instagram throwback post. According to the Brazilian, the spark was instant with the Red Bull Racing driver.

Verstappen's partner shared twenty photos from 2016 via Instagram, as part of a trend started on TikTok which describes '2026 as the new 2016.'
Piquet shared her own version of the trend on Instagram, with photos from her sister's graduation and her first meeting with Verstappen.
However, this series proved to be only a fraction of what Piquet experienced in 2016.
She wrote the following in the caption: "Okay, I've come around. 2016 was hectic. I could barely fit 10% in. I saved the best for last!"

The last photo in Piquet's post was of a very young Verstappen. This photo also received additional commentary from the Dutchman's partner.
"Met this guy... the very next day he told me I was the love of his life," Piquet said.
"Little did I know 10 years later we'd be celebrating 5 years together and have a perfect baby girl.
"PS. I absolutely did not have a magical night that night, but there was serendipity in the air."
Earlier this week, Piquet shared an update about her baby with Verstappen, joking about whether their daughter Lily looks more like her or Verstappen.
