Nelson Piquet Sr. got to blow out 73 candles on Sunday, August 17th. He was born in 1952 in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian drove for teams like McLaren, Williams, and Brabham and was a total of three times world champion in Formula 1. In total, Piquet competed in over two hundred Formula 1 races. It was still a question of where Piquet was during his birthday, but a meeting with his daughter Kelly seems to have been ruled out.
