F1 LIVE | Qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix

In this hour of daring and on-the-limit driving around the streets of Monte-Carlo drivers find themselves pushing the limits to the edges of the walls, to extract every bit of lap time they can from their cars since pipping their drivers on Saturday afternoon usually means beating them in the race as well.
McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari are closely matched, and even if the Scuderia has proven to be slightly ahead of its rivals, none of the practice results matter at this point. All bets are off and everything is still to play for.
Charles Leclerc is currently the man to beat having shown great confidence and speed around his home track. Nevertheless he will have to beat his own teammate Lewis Hamilton, Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen and McLaren's Oscar Piastri.
However, with light to moderate showers expected between 13:00 and 16:00, the weather may wreak havoc in what is already an incident prone session with several incidents taking place over the weekend already.
