Red Bull driver gets promoted for final two rounds of the season

Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov is set to compete in the final two rounds of the 2025 Formula 2 season.

Tsolov will replace Spanish driver Pepe Martí, who has signed with the Cupra Kiro Formula E team for next season, for the Qatar and Abu Dhabi rounds in F2.

The Bulgarian talent had already been confirmed to drive for Campos Racing in the feeder series next year, but now gets two more weekends under his belt. He will have a great benchmark alongside him: Arvid Lindblad.

Tsolov finished the Formula 3 season in second place behind champion Rafael Camara.

Audi unveils F1 2026 concept car

Audi has officially unveiled its first 2026 concept car, offering the very first details of what their cars in the next era of regulations could look like, without revealing much about the actual design.

The car features the German team's classic colour scheme, as Audi prepares to join the Formula 1 grid next year as the sport’s eleventh official team.

Today’s event marks the first official step in the transition process that will see Sauber rebranded as Audi in just over a month, as part of the ambitious project led by Mattia Binotto and Jonathan Wheatley.

Mattia Binotto, head of Audi F1 Project, said: “The goal is clear: to fight for championships by 2030. That journey takes time, the right people and a mindset of continuous improvement.

“Formula 1 is one of the most competitive environments. Becoming a champion is a journey of progress. Mistakes will happen, but learning from them is what drives transformation.”
