Ducati has reportedly agreed terms on MotoGP star Pedro Acosta joining the Italian team from the 2027 season onwards.
After Fabio Quartararo is said to be joining Honda and Jorge Martin is reportedly making a switch to Yamaha, a new superstar is also on course to join a new team in 2027.
According to Motorsport.com, the Italian manufacturer has an agreement in place with the current KTM rider, subject to the final details of Marc Marquez's contract clauses.
It was previously reported that the defending MotoGP world champion would sign a two-year contract with Ducati.

This would mean that two-time MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia could have to look for a new seat in the category. The Italian had a largely difficult campaign in 2025.
The same source suggests that the representatives of the Italian rider have been working on finding a new team for some time.
Reportedly, the market and Marquez's demands prompted Ducati to move to sign the highly rated Spaniard.
