Speculation has started to grow surrounding a mammoth potential partnership between Cadillac and another huge American brand.

It comes after several fans spotted something in one of Cadillac's social media posts on Instagram, with drivers Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas, along with reserve driver Zhou Guanyu, all seen wearing the exactaly same shoes.

Those shoes were Nike trainers, with all three donning the black-and-white pair of shoes while in Barcelona for winter testing, matching the colours of the team.

While no deal between the two has become official, it has fuelled plenty of rumours surrounding a potential deal.

Cadillac began its F1 journey on the first day of winter testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with Bottas taking to the track for the American team. Perez then had his chance to get some miles under his belt during the morning session of day four in Spain.

There is plenty of excitement and intrigue surrounding Cadillac, especially with its upcoming livery reveal that will take place during halftime at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 8.
