As the Canadian Grand Prix came to a close, Lando collected his teammate Oscar Piastri and ended up retiring from the race just four laps from the race's end, due to a 'super strange' mistake.
Nico Rosberg, former
F1 champion complimented Norris on Sky Sports TV Broadcast of the race for his lunge into the hairpin to take P4 from his teammate.
“It was an amazing battle to watch, the two of them going at it and Lando did an amazing first lunge into the hairpin, that was beautiful."

How beauty turned into nightmare scenario for McLaren
Nevertheless, the beauty quickly dissipated and what followed was something the German fails to understand.
“Afterwards, it was just very strange, the mistake that Lando made, super strange. There’s just one more mistake of the many and it’s a big mistake because he really committed, he didn’t back off or anything, he just stays full on the throttle which is also a bit strange."
However, since there was no animosity in the crash itself, Rosberg believes that the damage containment won't have to be significant.
“This is not too difficult to sort out because Piastri, for one, is completely aside, he’s not done anything and Lando, Andrea just needs to have a talk with him and just understand."
“You don’t even need to blame [anyone] because it’s just a misjudgement but you need to go through it and understand.”
