Cadillac revealed its 2026 challenger to the world via the Super Bowl, with team principal Graeme Lowdon "incredibly proud" of the event.
"We are a team built on bold ambition and leadership in innovation, values which we exhibited today ."- Graeme Lowdon
The American team unveiled its maiden Formula 1 livery for the upcoming campaign during a commercial break of one of America's most-watched events, Super Bowl LX.
They became the ninth team to reveal their challenger to the world in a never-seen-before spectacle, showcasing their new look for its maiden campaign in the pinnacle of motorsport.
American manufacturer General Motors had its bid accepted to join Formula 1 in March 2025, and Cadillac will make its debut at the Australian Grand Prix just 12 months later.

“I’m incredibly proud to reveal the colours of our 2026 Formula 1 challenger," Lowdon said in a press release after the livery reveal.
"We are a team built on bold ambition and leadership in innovation, values which we exhibited today by tapping into one of the most culturally significant sporting events in the world in a manner that has never been done by a Formula 1 team before.”
It wasn't just the Super Bowl that broadcast Cadillac's new machine to the world; the 'Cadillac Countdown' in Times Square also played a crucial role in the reveal.
From Friday, February 6 to Monday, February 9, a frosted glass box was displayed in Times Square, featuring a countdown clock leading up to the reveal of Cadillac's 2026 F1 challenger.
With the completion of the Super Bowl, the frosted box fully revealed Cadillac's challenger for the campaign, which will be on show to the whole of New York.
“This livery represents far more than a paint scheme; it represents who we are and what we bring to Formula 1," said Cadillac F1 Team CEO, Dan Towriss.
“Every detail is intentional: bold, modern, and unmistakably American, while respecting the heritage and precision that define this sport.
"Choosing to reveal our first race livery during the Super Bowl and in the heart of Times Square is a way to introduce our identity to the world at the intersection of performance, culture, and entertainment, and to connect with fans in places far beyond the paddock.”
The Super Bowl also saw Lewis Hamilton in attendance, and the romance rumours surrounding the 41-year-old continue to grow after he was spotted at the event.
The seven-time World Champion watched the game from a huge suite in San Francisco, California, alongside Kim Kardashian.
It comes after the Brit and the American were rumoured to have met several times, including a date that occurred in the United Kingdom.
