After Charles Leclerc's FP2 crash, now it was Lance Stroll's turn. The Canadian driver has found the wall at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve early on in FP2.
The necessary risks to find more and more lap time at a track like Gilles Villenueve involving getting as close to the walls as possible.
However, Canadian driver Lance Stroll got too close. Coming out of Turn 8, intending to maximise his exit performance, Stroll understeered and touched the wall.
However, despite the contact being somewhat mild, the repercusions were extreme, as the front left suspension on his car was destroyed.

Stroll is not the first driver to find the wall in Canada
