The drivers' standings took several turns following the conclusion of the Dutch Grand Prix. Several drivers extended their lead over their nearest challengers, while others lost further ground in their grip on their respective positions.

The race, which was again marked by the pace of the McLaren drivers, also witnessed the Scuderia Ferrari drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, record their first DNFs of the season.

McLaren were not without their fair share of DNFs, as Lando Norris also suffered an engine blow-up, ending his race from P2.

Home hero Max Verstappen finished on the podium to record his sixth podium of the 2025 season. Rookie Isack Hadjar also finished in the podium places in the race.
