Ferrari has shared a short video on social media, just over two weeks before the Italian Grand Prix, hinting at an announcement to be made ahead of its home race in Monza.
There are still about ten days left in the summer break, with the Dutch Grand Prix in between, but Ferrari is already getting ready to welcome its fans in the best possible way ahead of its home race at Monza.
Just recently, in fact, the Maranello team released a short teaser on its social media channels, featuring Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc sharing a few brief words about what it means to drive at Monza.
For the seven-time world champion, in particular, it will be an even more special occasion, as he will be taking part in his first Italian Grand Prix in red after years of competing as a rival in Mercedes colors.
The 2019 race was especially iconic, when Leclerc and Hamilton battled for the win, with the Monegasque ultimately emerging victorious and bringing a Monza victory back to Ferrari for the first time since 2010, when Fernando Alonso took the win.
In the post, whose caption reads “Monza 2025, coming soon,” there are also a few clips of Niki Lauda, following the style of a campaign launched a few days ago on Ferrari’s Instagram account celebrating the 1975 season, when the former Austrian driver won the World Championship at Monza.
Ferrari is hoping to secure its first win of the season at Monza, should it not come at Zandvoort, recalling last year’s victory achieved by Charles Leclerc thanks to a perfect tire strategy against a faster Oscar Piastri.
