Christian Horner is reportedly aiming for a comeback in Formula 1. According to a German medium, there could already be some interest in the Brit, who was fired from Red Bull Racing.
Things have been quiet around Christian Horner. Apart from the odd holiday picture on Instagram, little has been heard from the former team boss of Max Verstappen. Horner is otherwise keeping quiet, probably because there is still a need to reach a definitive agreement with Red Bull Racing about a possible severance package - although Horner is no longer statutory director of Red Bull Racing.
Perhaps Horner is already considering the next step in his career, with it being likely that he is looking at a new job in Formula 1. There might already be a latent interest in his services, according to Auto, Motor und Sport. The German medium reports that there are rumours circulating in the F1 paddock that Cadillac is interested in Horner. However, they cannot confirm said rumour.
Nevertheless, Cadillac already has a team boss in Graeme Lowdon. The Brit is currently building the American team, which will be on the F1 grid as of 2026. Should there indeed be interest from Cadillac in Horner, it can be assumed it would be for a position other than team boss.
Recently Horner was also linked with Ferrari, but Fred Vasseur extended his contract there. For now, it seems that option is off the table.
Furthermore, an F1 return for Horner may ultimately not be feasible, at least for the time being, but particularly so, with the Cadillac F1 team.
