Max Verstappen's victory at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, with his second win of the season, closed the gap between himself and the two McLaren drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
It was a faultless drive from the Dutchman, and although his pit stops came under safety car donditions, the first a VSC, his aced his restart with ten laps to and raced away from Piastri in P2 to take a fine win.
That win means he closes the gap to Piastri, although the Australain lost as little ground as he possibly could down in P3, with teammate Norris clsoing the gap just a little.
Behind the top three, the Ferraris made a great move in the constructors' championship with a P4 and P6 for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, while Alex Albon took a fine P5.
George Russell, Carlos Sainz, Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda rounded out the top ten.
