The Imola Grand Prix weekend is shaping up to be interesting, with only the media day done. Before we find out what Friday will bring, catch up with Thursday's news!

Hermann is who everyone wants to be

After Max Verstappen completed a test run at the Nordschleife track, many drivers shared their input on it.
George Russell said about driving at the track, "I'd love to. I really want to shuffle my schedule around a little bit to allow me to do more driving, because I love driving. I did a lot of driving in Nordschleife on iRacing over the winter."
While Russell could only admit to wanting to drive it. Yuki Tsunoda has already had the pleasure.
Tsunoda said, "I've driven it already. I drove it with the NSX GT3. But I don't think it was Max driving" (poking fun at Hermann).

Piastri debunks allegations

McLaren, as the more dominant team on the Formula 1 grid, have been accused of cheating. Some teams are reporting that they are cooling their tyres in an illegal way. To that, Piastri replied.
He said, "I honestly haven't read anything because I've not been concerned. Maybe next time we'll put some little figurines and a water slide as well."
One of the ways people think McLaren is cheating is by adding water to their tyres to keep them cool.
"I don't know. We'll come up with something. But I mean, clearly, it's all been passed (the prescribed FIA tests, ed.). I have no concerns. So, play on."
