Mercedes decide race engineers for Russell and Antonelli
Mercedes has confirmed the race engineers for George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli for the 2026 F1 season.
It’s not a big surprise, but Marcus Dudley and Peter Bonnington (Bono) will remain the direct points of contact for the two drivers this season.
Dudley is Russell’s Senior Race Engineer, while Bono holds the same role for Antonelli. In 2026, Bonnington will again combine his work with the Italian talent in the position of Head of Race Engineering.
When Helmut Marko referred a former F1 driver to an 'energy healer'
Juan Pablo Montoya has revealed that he was sent to see an 'energy healer' by Helmut Marko.
Speaking on the MontoyAS podcast, the former Williams driver revealed that he had met the same fate as the Mexican: “The only person who ever sent me to get checked out because he said there was something wrong with me was Helmut Marko.
“This was when it was his own team, but he didn’t send me to a psychologist — he sent me to an ‘energy healer’, because he said my speed and my stupidity couldn’t possibly coexist.
