The Canadian made the announcement via his Instagram page, posting on his social media for the first time since he announced he would be stepping away from racing.

The 30-year-old revealed that he earned this honour a few months ago, while also teasing that there will be "more to come soon".

"These past two years have been among the most rewarding of my life, filled with learning, growth, new experiences, and memories I will carry with me forever," Latifi stated.

Latifi sees success after stepping away from racing

Latifi made his debut in F1 at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix during the COVID year of F1, racing alongside George Russell at Williams in 2020 and 2021. Despite a small resurgence in 2021, the Canadian was comfortably beaten in all three of his seasons, facing Alex Albon in 2022.

After he was replaced at Williams by Logan Sargeant for the 2023 season, the 30-year-old then announced he would be stepping back from racing in July, where he also went on to reveal that he would go and study at the London Business School.

Now, two years later, the Canadian has successfully achieved his degree and graduated. He is not the first driver to have gone into education, as Nyck de Vries went to Harvard to spend a semester on an executive programme on negotiation and leadership.
