Isack Hadjar has been proving he has what it takes all season. However, Hadjar is a part of the Red Bull Racing family. Dutch analyst Christijan Albers believes Hadjar should not stay with them and leave as soon as he can. Albers started out saying, “I think Hadjar is fantastic." He continued, "Boy oh boy, he's going like a rocket, that guy.”
Hadjar scored points in all three of the triple-header races. He managed to finish in sixth, seventh and ninth position.
Hadjar needs to leave Red Bull
However, Albers believes that Hadjar should not rush into a seat at Red Bull, or take one at all.
“Everyone is going to have a hard time next to Max. You really have to be careful there. If I were Hadjar's management, I would have said 'no'.”
The Dutchman continued: “If I were Hadjar's management, I would make sure he doesn't go to Red Bull. And then I would've done everything possible this season to see if you can get him out of the Red Bull family."
He then uses Verstappen's former teammates as examples.
"Because if you look at a Gasly, who has come to life [at Alpine] and Sainz, then you have a much better chance of a very long career and that [chance] becomes less and less the longer you stay at Red Bull or Racing Bulls. That’s the reality.”
Verstappen has had many teammates during his time at Red Bull Racing. Most of them have been replaced. The second Red Bull seat has been a revolving door ever since Daniel Ricciardo left in 2018. His current teammate is Yuki Tsunoda, who finished 13th at the Spanish Grand Prix.
