The final Free Practice session at the Italian Grand Prix witnessed McLaren dominate, with Lando Norris topping the timing sheet. However, Charles Leclerc offered the Tifosi something to be hopeful for ahead of qualifying.
The session at the iconic ‘Temple of Speed’ saw Yuki Tsunoda initially set the quickest time in the Red Bull car. The Japanese driver, however, would soon see his time usurped by teammate Max Verstappen.
Verstappen largely topped the timing sheet for much of the session until Scuderia Ferrari, with the audible cheers of the Tifosi, went quickest through Charles Leclerc.
Lewis Hamilton also put in competitive lap times to join the party at the top end of the grid. However, it would be the dominant McLaren that stormed to the top of the timing sheet once again.
Lando Norris clocked the fastest time of the session, with teammate Oscar Piastri following closely in third place. Leclerc split the pair to complete the fastest three from the session in Monza.
