The Formula 1 grid is next scheduled to visit the Red Bull Ring for the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix. What type of weather will the teams have to deal with? Find out below!
Unlike the previous two years, there will be no Sprint events in Austria, with Friday seeing the two free practice sessions, FP1 and FP2, take place.
Unlike in 2023 when Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez clashed in the Sprint on the intermediates, not much rain is expected this time around at the Red Bull Ring.
After no rain fell on Friday, Saturday will be the driest day at the Red Bull Ring.
In the morning, there were reports of a slight chance of rain, but that has now disappeared, with no rain expected for FP3 or qualifying throughout the day.
Temperatures will reach highs of 26 degrees Celsius for FP3 earlier in the day, while qualifying will see very hot temperatures of 28 degrees when the session gets underway, dropping to 27 for its conclusion.
Once again, wind gusts could be up to 30 kph, but winds will be between 5-15 kph, pushing to 10-20 kph for qualifying.
On Sunday, it will be sunny, with clouds then developing over the track throughout the Grand Prix. However, no rain is expected, with a 0% chance of rain forecast despite the cloudy weather.
5-15 kph winds are expected, while it is predicted to be the hottest day of the weekend, with 31 degrees Celsius at the start of the Grand Prix at 3pm local time expected to beat down on the Red Bull Ring, adding another layer to what could be a thrilling Grand Prix.
