Isack Hadjar enters the summer break with being the Red Bull family driver who scored the second most points in 2025. However, after not scoring any at the Hungaroring, the Frenchman was not satisfied with the outcome.
Hadjar finished in just outside of the points in P11. Early on, gravel coming off of the car ahead also hit his hand, making it more difficult for the Racing Bulls driver. Similarly to Saturday, he was not happy with the result.
"There's been the last few races where we are running easily in the points and we got issues. So I'm OK with that, it can happen during a season. But this weekend we've been on top of it every session and only a very small mistake yesterday, when it mattered, just compromised the whole weekend," he began answering GPblog's question at the Hungaroring.
"So it's great that Liam [Lawson] scored points, but on the other hand, when you're ahead [during] the whole weekend and then you're the one not finishing in the points, it definitely hurts."
The Frenchman has a clear target for after the summer break. "Making sure these mistakes in Q3 don't happen. And that's it, I think there's so much positive to take away and we keep pushing," Hadjar continued to this website among others in Hungary.
He also believes he has done enough so far this season to be in contention for the remaining seat at Red Bull Racing, as over the media day of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen confirmed he will stay with the Austrian team for 2026.
"When I'm on top of it, and I’m not making any mistakes, then yes, I can."
Is the Frenchman dreaming of that? "I'm dreaming of scoring points," he concluded.
