Johnny Herbert once again saw Lewis Hamilton struggle during the Mexico City Grand Prix.
"It just seems to be an ongoing thing. It’s horrible to watch."- Lewis Hamilton
The ex-F1 driver and steward noted that Hamilton’s difficulties continued throughout the Mexico City Grand Prix.
After securing his best qualifying result finishing third only behind Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, a 10-second time penalty relegated Hamilton to eighth place.

After a positive Saturday, Herbert believes it was a frustrating Grand Prix for Hamilton.
He told a betting site: "In the race it didn’t quite materialise. It just didn’t click for him. It just seems to be an ongoing thing. It’s horrible to watch.
“It’s an ongoing saga for him where Charles is still being very consistent and getting the job done."
He added: “Lewis did say he was more comfortable with the car. So, let’s see if there is progress in the remaining races. They want that. All Lewis fans will want that at the same time. It hasn’t yet materialised."
Despite claiming Ferrari’s first-ever Sprint victory in Shanghai, Hamilton is still chasing his first Grand Prix podium of the year, having finished fourth several times.

The seven-time world champion went wheel-to-wheel with his former title rival Max Verstappen — a battle Herbert thoroughly enjoyed.
"I thought that was a great piece of racing. There was a little bit of wheel-banging, but that was the way racing should be.
"It was a late dive up the inside. Lewis probably wasn’t expecting it.”
