Max Verstappen’s holiday has come to an end, and the Dutchman’s attention now shifts to the final ten races of the Formula 1 season. On Tuesday evening, Kelly Piquet shared a series of photos from their vacation on Instagram.
Verstappen began his summer break in Portugal, spending time with family, friends, and in-laws. Later, the Red Bull Racing driver travelled to Sardinia with Kelly, her daughter Penelope, and Lily. During the trip, he even crossed paths with Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff, though GPblog confirmed that the meeting was purely friendly.

Kelly has now shared several photos from their vacation in the Portuguese town of Comporta on her Instagram. The collection included photos of herself, moments with friends and family, as well as pictures featuring Max Verstappen.
Another photo captured the Red Bull Racing driver walking hand in hand with herself and daughter Penelope. Kelly also shared pictures of herself with Penelope and paid tribute to her brother Nelseon Piquet Jr. on his 40th birthday. She captioned the post: "Once upon a comporta."
Verstappen's holiday over, F1 season resumes with Dutch GP
The Formula 1 season resumes this weekend with the Dutch Grand Prix. On Tuesday, Verstappen's jet was spotted departing from Nice, though not headed directly to the Netherlands. The flight appeared to be part of the preparation for the Dutch Grand Prix.
Verstappen has dominated his home race in recent years, winning three of the four editions of the Dutch Grand Prix. However, in 2024, Red Bull Racing driver failed to win for the first time since the return of the Zandvoort Circuit to the F1 calendar, with Lando Norris clinching victory.
