With the Italian Grand Prix set to take centre stage, drivers have begun to arrive, with some choosing to showcase their unique fashion sense. Among them is Lando Norris, who made an eye-catching appearance on media day.

The McLaren driver, fresh off a disappointing end to his Dutch Grand Prix, turned up wearing a MotoGP-inspired outfit that paid homage to Valentino Rossi.

Norris sported a black jacket featuring a crescent moon design with a face of a man with a mischievous smirk on it.

Rossi’s connection to open-wheel racing is well documented, and on occasion, he is present at Formula 1 races whenever he is away from MotoGP-related duties.

The Italian icon also participates in endurance racing in the LMGT3 category.

Lando Norris reacts after his Zandvoort DNF

Lando Norris earlier reacted to his DNF during the Dutch Grand Prix. The McLaren driver suffered an engine failure in the final stages of the race at Zandvoort.

Speaking to the media after the incident, Norris admitted that such issues could happen to any driver, describing it as largely unlucky, and stated that he would now shift his focus to the remaining races on the calendar.

The DNF at Zandvoort witnessed the gap between Norris and championship rival Oscar Piastri widen to 34 points from nine ahead of the start of the race.
