Charles Leclerc and Lance Stroll have to report to the Stewards following their Monaco FP1 crash. As Leclerc Made his way through the beginning of the second sector, Stroll was told by his race engineer of the fast approaching Monegasque.
Blue flags were also waved by the marshalls for the Canadian, who after failing to hear his engineer's instructions on the onboard radio, veered into Leclerc's path causing an incident with important repercussions for the Aston Martin driver.
Stroll had to retire from the session as the AMR25's rear suspension and gearbox took damage and the team had to fix and swap the respective issues.
