Ahead of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Max Verstappen appeared at the Nordschleife circuit, where he tested a GT3 car for Verstappen.com Racing. There however, he did not compete under the name 'Max Verstappen'. During the Talking Bull podcast, the defending world champion once again joked about the pseudonym Franz Hermann, as the Dutchman had that name on his car for the testing event.

The four-time world champion was asked about whether Franz Hermann has any plans already for some sim racing. "I think he's pretty booked up for the weekend, so he is basically taking a weekend off," he joked.
When will he talk to Franz again? "I need to have a call with him on Monday, see what happens," he continued.
Moreover, Franz Hermann merchandise could be now found at Verstappen's shop. The Dutchman also added he got a good deal for the German. "Free of charge as well [for him]. I'm very generous, yes. Franz is quite generous too."
This weekend, it is once again Verstappen's turn to drive, in the RB21. After he finished in P4 at the Monaco GP, the 2025 Formula One season continues with the weekend in Barcelona.
Earlier, team principal Christian Horner suggested that he expects Red Bull Racing to be closer, given that the new technical directive for flexiwings is set to be introduced.
