The situation was not pleasant for the Trackhouse Racing #87 Red Bull car last weekend. Connor Zilisch was scheduled to take part in the Cup Series race at Watkins Glen, but had to withdrew because he got injured a day earlier.

On Saturday, Zilisch won the Xfinity race at the circuit on Saturday, but his celebrations were cut short quickly.

As he was getting out of his car, the driver slipped and fell to the ground. After regaining consciousness, he was taken to the medical center.

It was then decided that it would be better for the Trackhouse Racing driver to go to the local hospital. This is the reason the driver could not compete in Sunday's Cup Series race.

He let himself heard on social media after the accident.“Wanted to give everyone a quick update. Had surgery on my collarbone this morning to get a plate and screws to help with the healing process. Been a tough few days for me mentally, but all the love you guys have shown has certainly helped. Thank you," the driver wrote after his crash on his social media.

He later also posted a new image, joking about the situation as well.

No changes after Zilisch's crash at Watkins Glen

Mike Forde, director of the communications section at NASCAR, said at Hauler Talk that there are no plans to limit the celebrations.

"We haven't said that we were going to tell drivers who have won not to step out onto their window, and stand there and take photos and all that. Right now, there are no best practices. We aren't legislating it. We haven't said that drivers aren't allowed to do this or anything else. However, I think we did notice the window net ... we do have NASCAR employees in Victory Lane, and just make the window net is inside of the car."
