Lando Norris will start the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix from fourth place after a subpar qualifying for the McLaren driver. How does he plan to get ahead?
Norris admits, “It's going to be tricky. Overtaking naturally is going to be quite impossible.”

What can Norris do?

“There's maybe some good chances of strategy. I have to hope the tyres die very quickly.”
McLaren has seemingly had better tyre management throughout the season. It has been so good, in fact, that the FIA has investigated them for possible cheating.
Norris continued, “We can do [that] better as a team than others, and maybe that will open up my chances to do overcuts or undercuts on the guys ahead.”
“We've not done many long runs, we've not used the hard tyre yet. So many unanswered questions. I'll do everything as always to carry the rest of my way back.”
What will the race look like for Norris? And can he beat teammate Oscar Piastri, who starts ahead of him once again?
He said, “it's a one-stop, maybe a two-stop,”
“The start is my biggest opportunity, but to get past more than one person off the line here is not very easy. It's very narrow and I'm racing with drivers who take a lot of risks."
Norris added, “ It's a long season and I've got to balance my way through it.”
