Lando Norris has said the Monaco Grand Prix weekend has "given me confidence and momentum" in himself as he prepares for the Spanish Grand Prix.
Coming into the race weekend at the Principality, the 25-year-old only had one race win to his name from the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, while teammate Oscar Piastri collected four wins since then to leapfrog up the standings.
Issues in qualifying had derailed the Brit and his progress after coming into 2025 as one of the favourites for the world championship, unable to get to grips with his MCL39 during the final part of qualifying.
However, he took a morale-boosting pole position on the Monte Carlo streets, finding confidence once again on Saturday's, guiding him to his second win of the season.

Norris buoyed by Monaco success

"I think Saturday gave me confidence," Norris started by saying in Sunday's post-race press conference in Monaco.
"The Grand Prix was nothing new in the sense that I’ve had confidence in every Sunday we've had this year. I've not needed the confidence on Sundays, but Saturday was a bigger day for me.
"I was more proud of Saturday than I almost was of Sunday. Not just because a pole in Monaco sets up a win, but the accomplishment of doing it, no matter what the track would have been, was something I'm more proud about," continued the 25-year-old.
There will be a lot of eyes drawn towards McLaren and Norris for the Grand Prix in Barcelona, with the changes in the regulations regarding 'flexi-wings' taking place.
McLaren have continuously said that they will not be affected by these changes in front wing flexing, while their rivals believe that it may hinder their progress.
For Norris, there is not much thought going into that, only using his superb weekend at Monaco to good use.
"It was a good weekend for me, not just in terms of result but personally, to kind of give myself that momentum, that boost, definitely makes me feel better going into Barcelona next week," the Brit concluded.
