Outrage and Support: Internet divided over Verstappen penalty

The 2025 Spanish Grand Prix delivered high drama both on and off the track — and Max Verstappen's post-race penalty quickly became the biggest talking point online.

After a tense battle at the front and a bold three-stop strategy, Verstappen was handed a time penalty for the incident with George Russell late in the race. Despite stating that he would not apologise, earlier today Verstappen issued an apology on his Instagram, pointing that his actions were incorrect.
