Oscar Piastri wants to win the final two Grands Prix of the season after now being in a difficult situation in the battle for the 2025 world title.
"For my own pride, ego and opportunities, I want to win the next two races."- Oscar Piastri
The Australian is in a difficult situation entering the final two rounds of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Piastri originally finished fourth in Las Vegas, but was later disqualified together with Lando Norris.
After the race, he said about his chances of winning the title: "Obviously now [I'm] in the position where I can't just win it by winning races.
"What I can do is put myself in the best position to capitalize on if something does happen.
"So, for my own pride, ego and opportunities, I want to win the next two races. But, yes, that's all I can do.
"And if things go my way, things go my way. And if they don't, then it is what it is. And I'll try my best to have a good couple of last weeks."

Is there less pressure now on Piastri? He explained: "Yes and no. I mean, it is an outside chance now.
"It's again, like I said, I need things kind of outside of my control to also happen. So in some ways, yes, but it doesn't change the desire to want to do my best and try and win. And that's what I'll be focused on."
Piastri and Norris were disqualified for skid wear issues in the United States. This means that instead of 32 points, the gap between the two teammates remains at 24 points. Max Verstappen is now also tied on points with the Australian driver.
Bookmakers, however, saw Piastri's chances drop sharply after last weekend.
