A ntoriously proud and happy Kelly Piquet celebrated her newborn baby's father Max Verstappen on his epic win at Imola this past Sunday.

Kelly Piquet proud of 'her' Max Verstappen

Piquet, who welcomed her second daughter at the end of April, watched the Formula 1 race from home in Monaco. She saw Verstappen take the chequeared flag after keeping the McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris behind at Imola, where Red Bull Racing was not initially seen as the favourite.
After the race, Kelly posted three videos in her Instagram stories clips of her TV screen and with hearts drawn around Verstappen, clearly proud of him.
For the next race, Verstappen doesn't have to travel far and he can even go home at the end of the day, since it's the crown jewel of the calendar up next in the schedule: the Monaco Grand Prix, for which a special new rule will be in effect this year.
Verstappen could also count on the support of the audience present. The tifosi, in large numbers to encourage - especially - Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton and local hero Andrea Kimi Antonelli, sang for the race winner while the Dutch national anthem was played during the podium ceremony. “Tu tu tu tu, Max Verstappen”, rang out loudly.
