Mercedes’ preparations for the 2026 season, which will feature major regulation changes, have begun with a revamp of their teamwear collection.
"It gives not only me, but our team, a crucial advantage as we push for both championships."- George Russell
The 2026 season marks the second year of the collaboration between Mercedes and adidas after the German brand became the Official Team Partner for the Silver Arrows in 2025.
Now, to mark the occasion, adidas will uniquely craft apparel for each team member, with drivers, mechanics and engineers all receiving specially designed gear.
It was also announced that the new adidas x Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team collection will be available to fans on January 15.

Michael Batz, Motorsport Category GM at adidas, said that the new teamwear "meets the demands of every single member of the team" as vital work continues to be done before the Australian Grand Prix kicks off the 2026 season.
Mercedes' Chief Commercial Officer Richard Sanders also heralded the announcement, stating that the teamwear "not only meets the technical demands of F1, but also embodies the identity of the team".
Mercedes drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli commented on the brand new overhaul, with Russell stating: "In this new adidas teamwear collection, they've really put our team's performance at the forefront of its design.
"For us, every detail matters, and what we wear is no exception. This kit allows me to stay sharp, focused, and perform at my peak, giving not only me but our team a crucial advantage as we push for both championships."
Antonelli also had his say on the new deal: "It's amazing for me to work with a partner like adidas, who understands the need to innovate.
"As I look forward to taking a significant step up in my second season in F1, their commitment to optimising fit and function means I can step out onto the track feeling confident and ready to focus entirely on my performance and delivering results."
