McLaren is experiencing an excellent season in
Formula 1. Where
Lando Norris with his fourth place in the world championship is temporarily above Mercedes driver
Valtteri Bottas, we see
Daniel Ricciardo for the time being back on the tenth position.
Andreas Seidl thinks more is possible for his team in the coming years.
The German has held the role of team boss of
McLaren since May 2019. Since then, the team has found its way up and is increasingly able to compete with the big teams. Norris has been the surprise of the season with some good results during the opening race. However, Seidl stresses that it is not just the driver who performs well.
Seidl is working hard to achieve this goal and in doing so he has the full support of
Zak Brown, the boss of McLaren.
"With Zak's support and the freedom I've been given, I've been able to use my skills to shape the team so that it can operate successfully," he said.
