Max Verstappen seems to have already left Italy, at least if the Dutchman is on board his own private jet. Earlier in the day, the four-time world champion arrived in Sardinia, Italy, but after a few hours, it seems he has departed, as flight data shows.
Verstappen's yacht is in Sardinia, so it's possible the pilotdropped off the Dutchman and will stay there for some time. It's also a possibility that Verstappen just made a short stop in Italy. The question now is why?
Ralf Schumacher noted that Toto Wolff's yacht - the team boss of Mercedes - was also in Sardinia. Therefore, the German thought that Verstappen and the Austrian would discuss the future, which Mercedes hopes would be with their team. Verstappen is known to be deciding in the coming weeks whether to stay with Red Bull or look elsewhere.
Again, it's all speculation. You can read here what we do and don't know.
