Lance Stroll received a five-place grid drop for Sunday after causing a collision during the Sprint.

The start of the sprint was marred by an accident that saw his teammate Fernando Alonso miss out on a potential P2 and bag yet another DNF insteag.

Toward the end of the race the other Aston Martin would also meet its demise after the Canadian driver collected Esteban Ocon's Haas in a heavy crash at Turn 1.

Stroll has been found guilty by the Stewards of causing a collision and has thus been given a 5-place grid drop for Sunday's Grand Prix plus an extra two points on his license, which brings his total tally up to seven, with the first points expiring shortly, on 1 December.
