The seventh Grand Prix of the 2025 season is not far from getting underway at the iconic
Imola circuit.
The FIA have announced the final starting grid for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, with Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen starting on the front row.
The Australian was
just able to pip the Dutchman to the line to stop the Red Bull Racing driver taking his fourth pole position of the season.
Behind the top two, George Russell starts in P3, while a disappointed Lando Norrus was only ablw to take P4, meaning more work is needed to be done by the Brit.
Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz locked out the third rwo of the grid in what was a shock P5 and P6 for both Spaniards, with teammates Alex Albon and Lance Stroll behind them in P7 and P8, respectiely.
Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly round out the top ten with some more shocks, with the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton only able to qualify in P11 and P12 in front of the Tifosi, while Kimi Antonelli in his first home race could only come P13.
For Yuki Tsunoda, who crashed out in Q1 very heavily, he will start from the pit lane.
