Tsunoda sees Verstappen do something with the RB21 in Miami that he can't do yet

Yuki Tsunoda remarked after the Grand Prix of Miami that Max Verstappen achieves something he hasn't been able to yet: extracting the maximum from the RB21. Before the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Red Bull is launching an update package to assist Verstappen and Tsunoda in securing more points in the standings. The Japanese driver sees that Verstappen is driving at the limit, even when the car is less cooperative.
"If you look at Max's pace as well, he started P1 and finished P4, and the pace itself is not massively different. At the same time,  I'm sure that Max is already at the limit the car can handle, but for me, it's still four races, and I'm sure there is room that I can unlock for myself," Tsunoda said to Viaplay after the race.

Red Bull Racing Updates in Imola: Will This Assist Verstappen and Tsunoda?

Following the race in Miami, Verstappen also indicated that the car was certainly not optimal. In Imola, Red Bull is bringing a package of upgrades that ideally should close a significant portion of the gap to McLaren, but Helmut Marko had earlier stated that this is not very realistic, as the team from Woking already has a substantial lead.
Tsunoda also recognises that things must accelerate at the Austrian team. "I'll just keep focusing on that. At least in Miami, we struggle a lot like Bahrain, as a team, we have to improve, and I try to help as much as possible with my feedback for the development."
