Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has said the world championship battle is good for Formula 1 weighing in on the championship battle.
"The fact that Max is coming back, the fact that we have three teams fighting for P2 in the constructors’ championship, it's good for the show."- Frederic Vasseur
Lando Norris currently sits top of the drivers' standings on 357 points, just one ahead of teammate Oscar Piastri with four race weekends remaining.
However, what looked to be just a two-way battle between teammates has now seen Max Verstappen claw his way back into the fight thanks to some stunning form after the summer break, turning a 104-point deficit into just a 35-point gap between himself in P3 and Piastri in P2.
"Honestly, I don't know the points of the others," the Frenchman started by saying when asked about his thoughts on the current title battle after the Mexico City Grand Prix.

He continued: "It's a good issue for McLaren [to have two drivers up there], but at the end of the day, they did a great job this season. They have two drivers that are competitive; sometimes it's Oscar, sometimes it's Lando. It will be like this until the end.
"It's good for F1, it's good for the show. The fact that Max is coming back, the fact that we have three teams fighting for P2 [in the constructors’ championship] separated by 10 points. It's good for the show and good for the sport. But congratulations to McLaren."
As mentioned by Vasseur, the battle for P2 in the championship is just as close, with Ferrari sitting in that spot with 356 points, just a single point ahead of Mercedes on 355, while Red Bull sits ten points off the Scuderia with 346 points.
After a dominant performance at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Norris took his first win since the Hungarian Grand Prix, with those 25 points putting him back at the top of the drivers' standings for the first time since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April.
That lead that Piastri held since the Miami Grand Prix has now been erased, with the Australian now trailing his teammate by just a single point with four remaining Grands Prix weekends, including two sprint weekends.
Verstappen's run, which has seen him take three wins since the summer break, has also brought him back into contention to claim an improbable fifth consecutive title. Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko also demands that the Austrian team must strike perfection to give the Dutchman a chance at the title.
