Max Verstappen cracked a joke at the expense of a teammate during a livestream, which especially the Dutchman himself found hilarious.
On Wednesday, Verstappen joined a Team Redline livestream, his own sim racing team, for the first time in a while.
Together with his teammates, the Red Bull Racing driver played football game FC 26, known as FIFA until 2023. As usual, the livestream produced a number of laugh-out-loud and remarkable moments.

This happened when the possibility came up for teammate and host Luke Crane to step into an F1 car and run a race.
Crane had earlier suggested that Verstappen would rather not race at all — a claim the four-time world champion quickly dismissed. Verstappen fired back with a laugh, joking: “You won't fit in the seat, mate!”
“Shut up!” Crane replied. “Funny, very nice.” Verstappen then piled on: “I will cut a bathtub in half and install that in the car,” he suggested, after which things went notably quiet. “He didn’t like that one, did he? It’s quite comfortable in the bathtub,” Verstappen concluded.

Verstappen, who returned from Brazil on Monday after spending time on holiday with his partner Kelly Piquet and daughters Penelope and Lily, was already back in the simulator by Wednesday. Team Redline regularly hosts livestreams on Wednesday evenings, and this time Verstappen was once again involved.
During the livestream, Verstappen was asked which sport he would pursue if he weren’t in Formula 1. His answer was: “Hot dog eating!”
In a week, Verstappen will be on the road again for Red Bull: on January 15, the Dutchman must be in Detroit for the 2025 car launch and the unveiling of the partnership with Ford.
