Verstappen turns out to speak yet another language besides Dutch, English, and German

It turns out that besides Dutch, German, and English, Max Verstappen has mastered another language: French. During Wednesday’s stream, he said a phrase in the language that’s spoken in his place of residence.

Verstappen was playing FC 26 with, among others, Jarno Opmeer and Luke Crane on Team Redline's stream, but things didn’t exactly go smoothly for the Dutchman and his team.

“C’est pas bon, c’est pas bon,” said the Red Bull Racing driver on his stream. Which, of course, means “it’s not good". In addition to a few words of French, the four-time Formula 1 world champion was also doing quite a bit of swearing on the stream.

Verstappen from Barcelona to Monaco

Judging by Verstappen’s background, with all kinds of racing helmets, it looked like the Dutchman was simply at home while streaming.

Now, the Red Bull Racing team is in Barcelona for the first shakedown of the Formula 1 season. On Wednesday, Verstappen and Hadjar didn’t take to the track, as the Red Bull car had to be repaired after Hadjar’s crash on Tuesday.

On Thursday morning, GPblog learned parts still need to be flown in from Milton Keynes, so Verstappen did not drive that day either. Only Friday remains for Red Bull—and Verstappen in particular—to get some running in, as Hadjar has already used up his time during the shakedown.
