Where will the F1 exhibition travel to? The new location is revealed

The Formula 1 Exhibition will be heading to a brand-new location, with the display going 'down under' as it travels to Melbourne, Australia.

The F1 Exhibition will arrive the the Australian country on 29 November, 2025.

F1 Exhibition coming soon to Melbourne

The travelling F1 Exhibition gives fans a unique behind-the-scenes look at the sport and its history, featuring contributions from F1 teams, past and present drivers, and key figures.

The exhibition offers the ultimate immersive experience with cutting-edge racing simulators, exclusive archive, interviews with icons and many memoribilia. Previously, the exhibition was a major success in London, earning the "Best Visitor Experience" title at The Access All Areas Awards.

Once Upon a Time will make a return in Australia, featuring a gallery of previously unpublished photos, films, artefacts and numerous interviews.

The Design Lab gives an insight to how teams design and produce car components.

Drivers and Duels tells the story of legendary competitors and rivalries, together with 60 helmets on display.

Revolution by Design focuses on innovations and the future of the competition.

The Survival gallery highlights the incredible safety advancements in Formula 1, with a particular focus on Romain Grosjean’s terrifying crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, where he miraculously escaped from a fiery wreck.

Meanwhile, The Pit Wall offers fans an immersive experience, allowing them to relive some of the most defining moments in F1 history like never before.

“Every time Formula 1 comes to Melbourne we feel the passion for the sport throughout this amazing city, so it’s only fitting for it to be the destination for the first F1 Exhibition in Asia-Pacific. The show celebrates the sport’s rich history and Australia’s outstanding contribution to Formula 1.

"I’m really excited for fans to go on an incredible immersive journey through our sport’s most memorable moments," said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula One Management.

Australia becomes the eighth stop of the exhibition

The F1 Exhibition launched back in 2023, starting in the Spanish capital of Madrid. Since then, it has travelled to Vienna in Austria, Toronto in Canada, London in the United Kingdom, Buenos Aires in Argentina, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Now, after a stop in Oberhausen, Germany in October, the exhibition will journey across the world and land in Melbourne, the home of the opening race of the 2025 season.
