Christian Horner was the team principal of Red Bull Racing. However, on Wednesday morning, it was announced that he would be leaving effective immediately. Thus ending one of the longest times served with a team.

The longest-serving team principal in the history of Formula 1 is Sir Frank Williams. He led Williams from 1977 to 2020, serving for a total of 43 years.

Horner served as team principal and CEO of Red Bull Racing from the takeover's inception. He was active from 2005 to 2025 - 20 years.

Now that Horner is gone, Toto Wolff takes his place as the longest-standing team principal currently in Formula 1. Wolff was appointed in January of 2013. Leaving him with almost a full decade of leadership over all the other team principals.
