Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren, saw his team dominate in Imola. Both Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were the fastest in both practice sessions. As for race pace, McLaren seems to be the quickest, but Brown is not confident about a completely dominant weekend.

Recurring McLaren Problem During Qualifications

‘’Qualifying is very close this year. This track is difficult to overtake on."  according to Brown.
Speaking to Viaplay, Brown expressed his concerns about an orange-colored front row. Although McLaren often leads the field on Fridays, qualifying is frequently seen as their Achilles' heel. Brown is aware of this issue.
"The race pace looks good, but you need to be as far forward as possible. I think it looks good, but we need to string together perfect laps, because the top-5 could end up within a tenth of each other,’’ he went onto say.
