Max Verstappen'a and Lewis Hamilton's motor racing interests spread beyond the confines of F1, seeping into two-wheeled machinery as well, and they may well be headed in that direction, as per reports by Autosport.com.

Interest in MotoGP has surged since Liberty Media acquired the series in a deal that passed the EU antimonopoly oversight earlier this year. Hamilton's known to be a motorcycle enthusiast with the Briton doing a private test with Valentino Rossi at Silverstone in previous years, and more recnetly arriving at the Italian Grand Prix riding a Ducati Superbike adorned with the colours of the Italian flag.

Recently, in early 2025, Hamilton was linked to the purchase of a stake in KTM's MotoGP programme, with the motorsport boss of the Austrian manufacturer claiming 'concrete' talks had already taken place.

The Briton was also linked to the potential acquisition of the Ducati Satelite team, Greisini. However, both reported negotiations have amounted to nothing tangible thus far.

On Verstappen's side, his manager Raymond Vermeulen explained that the Dutchman was indeed a fan of MotoGP, but that the purchase of MotoGP team was unrealistic at the moment, with the chances of such a deal taking place being dubeed as minimal.
