Lewis Hamilton's father, Anthony Hamilton, will reportedly join the FIA. According to The Times, he is set to get involved in an official capacity with the FIA’s Young Driver Development Pathway. 

Hamilton Sr. to collaborate with Ben Sulayem

Hamilton Sr. is said to have been working behind the scenes with FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem for the past year and a half. Apparently, Sulayem was impressed with him enough to offer him a role with the FIA.
The FIA’s Young Driver Development Pathway (YDDP) is set to be introduced in June at the FIA conference in Macau. Alongside Sulayem will be Hamilton Sr. who will help reveal the project.
Hamilton Sr. is rumoured to be working in an advisory capacity with the Young Development Pathway.
